Shiseido Ibuki Beauty Sleeping Mask

Hello! Today’s topic is a new version of the Ibuki Skincare line from Shiseido, which was kindly sent to me from last month! As I already told you – I’m freaking about my Ibuki night cream (here), the one that turned my dry skin into a glowy and moisturized skin during the winter months. This fact, made even more curious about the new Beauty Sleeping Mask from Shiseido, which is targeted at women in their late 20’s and early 30’s.

Shiseido Ibuki Beauty Sleeping Mask

I was kind of nervous and curious about trying the new nigh mask from Shiseido, because I already have a favourite one from Origins (here) – that one is really hard to top!  As the texture of Origins night mask (thick and a bit oily) is really different that the texture of this one, so I cannot actually categorize them as substitutes. My by now favourite night mask from Origins is more of a winter beauty mask and this one I could already categorize as a product, appropriate for the summer months because of its lightweight texture.

What you can find on Shiseido’s website is the following information:

An overnight beauty secret.
Formulated with Vitamins C and E help tired-looking skin appear clearer, brighter and more radiant.
Exclusive PhytoTarget Complex enhances skin’s natural moisture factors*, to help build skin’s resistance to external stressors.
Formulated with Phytoplankton Extract to help revitalize skin for a plump, well-rested look.
Gentle scent with a Violet fragrance generates a feeling of relaxation to prepare you for a pleasant sleep.

Shiseido Ibuki Beauty Sleeping Mask
Shiseido’s Ibuki Beauty Sleeping Mask is an overnight leave-on facial mask, which I use on its one more like a normal night cream, after washing my face and before bedtime. Just after applying it, this mask feels really watery on the face, but after massaging it onto the skin, the texture and its vitamin capsules melt upon application and turn into cream, which absorbs pretty quickly. This mask leaves a bit of shiny layer, that is a bit sticky, but this doesn’t disturb me at all, as I’m going nowhere but sleeping right after applying it. (Do not use this around your eyes! It literally burns!)
The price aspect: a little goes a long way! I do feel I need just a drop of it in order to cover my whole face… I will keep you informed, but I feel I will have enough product for the next  5-6 months!
Shiseido Ibuki Beauty Sleeping Mask
What can I say about it: This product is really hydrating my skin, my face looks more radiant, brightened and refreshed on the morning after. The mask doesn’t feel too heavy, too greasy or sticky, and because of the fact it is gel-based it is absolute appropriate for the summer months! It smells like each product from Shiseido’s Ibuki line, just heavenly!  I can already say that I like it a lot! I will continue using it 2 to 3 times in a week. After several times of application, I could already notice that my skin was really radiant, smooth and brightened. What I really liked is the way my makeup applies after using this product overnight – really smooth and not patchy at all, as I have had used some makeup primer!
And yes! I can recommend this Shiseido mask to all of you with any types of skin! This product hydrates the skin perfectly, makes it smooth, bright and much glowier! It prepares my skin for any makeup I will use on the next day as it leaves it even and primed.

Enjoy the day!
