Hello! Today, after a long day spent with positive emotions in the Grand Canyon National Park, we will enjoy the night in the beautiful town of Sedona, located in Red Canyon of Arizona, or the so-called “The Red Rocks”. When we were planning the route to our next destination San Diego, there were many possibilities to choose from. The fastest option was the same route that we had to Grand Canyon and Las Vegas. But as you will guess, I would not decide to drive through the same highways, as we tent to see as many places as possible. So I went through some blogs and forums on the Internet in order to find some interesting alternative. After a while, we found a route, which passes through the small town of Sedona with its amazing scenery, climate and tranquillity!
And yes, the beauty of nature has its price – it was probably the most expensive night for a double room in a motel from the month we spent in the USA. But we also had a special cause for celebration on that day – my husband’s birthday! Indeed, the booking was meant to be a surprise for him… And definitely, it was! Especially with the unique view of “The Red Rocks” from our room! Sedona find a place in my heart and certainly, I would come back for a long time because this region is great for some bike tours and hiking as well!
In the next blog post we are heading to San Diego – the city in which I fell in love and the only city I know by now that totally meets my requirements for “The Best City” to live.
