Body Shop Lightning Touch Concealer

Hello! Today I have a new product I’ll be talking about. This Body Shop product is more of highlighter than a concealer (as I thought it would be) and I bought it, as it is meant to be a dupe of YSL Touche Eclat, which I think is more than a good product but very pricy. Let’s start!
Body Shop Lightning Touch Concealer

I bought this concealing product from The Body Shop as my highly beloved and truly trusted Fit Me concealer from Maybelline went empty. This time I was ready to try with something new to me and I ended up on buying this one. Unfortunately, as I already said, this is not exactly a concealer but a brightener, and yess – it is very similar to the famous Touche Eclat by YSL, but much, much cheaper!

I have been using this in many different ways over the last 2 weeks and I could already share with you my thoughts:

I tried using it in many different ways, and I think I like it the best when applied with some beauty sponge or beautyblender. Applied with fingers, it stays somehow patchy on my skin and I don’t like its finish. It works with beutybleder, because otherwise it dries really quickly on the skin. It has a quite heavy fragrance and for those who doesn’t like fragranced cosmetic – it’s nothing for you!

I would recommend this product for people with oily skin, the texture will stay on its place for very long time! For people with dry skin, like me – it is not an easy product to play with. But, the product comes in light shades and is perfect for those who are looking for a very sheer highlighter. The packaging is not as luxuriant as the YSL one, but it for the half of the price is really nice (ca. 15.00 €).

Body Shop Lightning Touch Concealer

After all, The Body Shop Lightning Touch Concealer brightens up the under eye area and makes my face look fresh and awake. Applied with beautyblender it blends very well and gives my skin very natural look. Anyhow, I would say, it doesn’t work as concealer at all, so I still need a new one!
